KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES::
Publications Support:
- Receive and process requests for new publications.
- Typeset and standardize manuscripts of the Institute’s publications and assist in setting the technical specifications for the printing/publishing to match IsDB/IRTI standard
- Assist in the analysis and evaluation of markets, competing companies, product and digital market requirements.
- Coordinate the publication function including design revision, and editing, as well as supporting the relationship with authors, publishers, and other service providers to ensure timely delivery and quality of publications.
- Assist in research and data gathering for publication materials.
- Keep abreast of the global best practices in terms of quality and standards in the publishing industry and apply the same in the Institute
Publications Distribution:
- Assist in classification, indexing and distribution of IRTI publications
- Coordinate for the printing and shipment of published materials to the clients.
- Assist in marketing and sales of IRTI publications to generate revenues.
- Assist in distribution of publications to various IsDB departments and other institutions upon request
- Assist in organizing IRTI’s participation in seminars, conferences and related events to represent and showcase IRTI’s publications and other services
Reporting & Communication:
- Prepare periodic reports related to IRTI publications for the Management.
- Coordinate the settlement of payments to vendors and service providers.
- Communicate with local and regional distributors for supporting marketing and sale of IRTI publications.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Information Management / any relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the publishing field, preferably in an academic / research and / or knowledge products industr
