IM Consultant (Part-Time)

Role Purpose:

The IM Consultant will be based in Mersin, Turkey, the overall objective is to support SARD in designing and operating a more efficient information management system

• The specific objective is to equip SARD with an effective, efficient, and secure system, related
processes, and tools for data and information management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :

Creating a linking system between the assessments and activities databases, enabling the ease of data cross-analysing
• Analyse and create a database, for each assessment or activity in close coordination with the relevant staff.
• Assist in the coding, data cleaning, and data analysis
• Provide training for the relevant staff.
• Ensure that SARD’s recommendations and material (databases, SOPs, etc.) are practical and operational in the Syrian context.
• Creating a monthly power PI supportive report of SARD implemented activities in close coordination of the relevant staff.
• Provide the cleaned and reportable data upon the deadlines of each monthly report, observe the data flow of SARD and consult about any actions that need to be taken in regard

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Advanced university degree in Information Technology/Systems or other related studies.**
• At leas**t 2-3 years’ experience in data management information systems.**
• Proven experience in the Syrian context.
• Experience in providing technical instruction/consultancy in document and information management (desirable).
• Proven skills in written and spoken both, English and Arabic.
• Strong communication skills, ability to organize and coordinate processes across a number of departments.
• Ability to work with limited resources/supervision
