OBJECTIVE OF THE WORK
The School Meals Programme includes school meals served in schools and take-home school meals. In accordance with each modality, WFP has established processes and activities that require coordination between different areas and actors. Through the coordinator of the School Meals Programme and the Food Security and Disability Inclusion Programme, the correct implementation of school meals and their associated areas will be guaranteed.

ROLE OF THE IMPLEMENTATION ASSISTANT:
The person responsible for the implementation of school meals in any of its forms, as well as food security and disability inclusion. The person coordinates field activities, including distributions, corporate reports, programmatic reports, among others. The implementation assistant centralizes information on everything related to food distribution and its associated processes, as well as activities in other areas related to school meals.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Centralizes quantitative information on implementation by monitoring School Leaders and Distribution Leaders.
• Writes municipal/state reports related to the implementation of the School Meals Program.
• Develops distribution plans considering the number of beneficiaries, routes, and the efficient use of time and logistical resources.
• Promptly communicates to the WFP implementation assistant-programs any difficulties or
impossibilities in using corporate platforms, as well as other aspects related to the planning of the distribution process.
• Ensures the digitalization of data on the Moda platform, regarding student attendance and rations served in schools.
• Ensures that School Leaders apply the forms defined by the WFP to monitor stocks in schools served under the modality of school meals served at school.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: University education in any field.
• Experience: three (03) years of work experience, preferably in management of social projects, food programs or community projects.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication.
• Ability to work under pressure .
• Ability to prepare reports.
• Pedagogical ability and assertive communication for the adequate transmission of knowledge to different target populations.
• Courtesy and tact in the performance of duties.
• Social sensitivity for working in a community with different actors, which includes the continuous accompaniment of processes.
• Creativity and proactivity.
• Efficient handling of Microsoft Office® at an intermediate level.

CONTRACTUAL CONDITIONS:
– Contract for the provision of services for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
– Start date January 2025.
– On-site work and travel to municipalities within the state of Yaracuy.
– San Felipe – State of Yaracuy VNZ
