INFOGRAPHIC DESIGNER (SERVICE CONTRACT) At 3iSolution

3iSolution/iMMAP France is an international nongovernmental organization that provides information management services to humanitarian and development organizations. Through information management, we help our partners target assistance to the world’s most vulnerable populations. With our Developing the River Basin Monitoring System for Tigris and Euphrates Rivers in Iraq project, 3iSolution/iMMAP France has identified key information needs of National Center for Water Resources Management (NCWRM) to support the design and development of new information management platform and geospatial tools to centralize information and improve data capture, processing, analysis and visualization for timely dissemination of information to key decision-makers. Through the Iraq Water Information Management System (IQ WIMS) developed, 3iSolution/iMMAP France will support the creation of interactive maps, dashboards, charts, infographics and other information products to improve access to information.

CONTRACT HIGHLIGHT

An Infographic designer proficient in graphics design will be working closely with the Project lead, Software developers and IM officer to make sure all designed Infographics components meet the needs of IQ WIMS. All the designed Infographics components has to get approval of the project team to be marked as completed.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

Design of IQ WIMS UI Infographic Components

• Design Logo for IQWIMS that matches the project purpose and 3iSolution/iMMAP France core values
• Design Login Page Infographic elements containing all project partners logo and explanatory images
• Header and footer containing precise information for decision maker, data analyst, data entry dashboards and all tabs under IQWIMS
• Decision maker dashboard and Water quality dynamic maps legend

Design of Schematic Diagram

• Design a stream network component schematic diagram using Draw.io based on active follow-up of software developers

Design new IQ WIMS Icons Pack

Designing new icon/image for the following IQWIMS components:

• Data Sharing: A component facilitating the sharing of raw water information across various time steps (daily, weekly, monthly).
• External Links: Additional links for NCWRM to access satellite imagery and global climate data downloads.
• Home Page: An interactive and dynamic water information dashboard featuring multiple visualizations, including graphs, maps, and lists.
• Data Analysts’ Dashboard: A dedicated section for NCWRM experts to conduct water data analysis.
• WIMS Configuration: A component for setting up infrastructure attributes and introduce new gauging stations.
• Daily Report Customization: A user-friendly feature enabling the customization/selection of data for inclusion in daily reports.
• Reservoir Characteristics: A section for configuring Dam/Natural Lake characteristics in terms of area, volume, and water level relationships.
• Data Entry Forms: User-friendly forms for the collection of hydro-meteorological data.
• Tabular Reports: A feature for presenting water data in table format.
• Graphical Reports: A tool for visualizing water data using graphs.

Additional icon design requests will be included when new components/tab is introduced to IQ WIMS

Modification of Existing Icon Pack in IQ WIMS

• Modifying all existing icon pack to match 3iSolution colour codes
• Improving the resolution of all project partners logos

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• University degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a closely related field. Self-taught graphic designers are also encouraged to apply.

Experience

• At least 3 years of work experience in infographic design.
• Specific experience in designing icon pack for a website is an asset.
• Proficient in using design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and Web- based diagram design tools (e.g. Draw.io)
• Good understanding of UI Infographic component design
• Good visual design sense in a detail-oriented way with excellent problem-solving skills
• Flexible enough to accept feedback and incorporate it into designs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a multicultural team.
• A compelling portfolio with projects showcasing skills relevant to the position.
