Org. Setting and Reporting
Supervisor:
– Field Relief Services Officer.
Supervisee:
– not applicable.

Working conditions:
– Office environment with access to telephone, PC and other automation equipment, internet,
and intranet. Some local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

1. Reporting Duties:
– Develop, administer, and maintain the case tracking and incident monitoring database of
‘ActivityInfo’ at the Jordan Field Office.
– Compile statistics from the various sources, monitor and report on cash indicators (RPM),
and trends to inform both UNRWA’s services delivery, donors, programmatic responses, the
Agency’s advocacy interventions, donor proposals etc..,
– Assist in collecting and documenting field-specific user requirements and provide to the
RRIS Management Information Administrator.
– Producing activity specific and periodic reports when required.

2. Coordination and Payment Distribution Duties:
– Responsible for preparing and finalizing cash distribution including quarterly unconditional
cash assistance, winterization, emergency cash and any cash top up under the Emergency
Programme targeting Palestine Refugees from Syria.
– Coordinate with both Health and Education Programmes to complete and update Palestine
Refugees from Syria (PRS) service cash costs including health services provided, tuition fees
at the Training, Vocational Education Training (TVET) Centers and the Faculty of
Educational Sciences and Arts (FESA) respectively and reflect them of RRIS.
– Participate in the Interagency Cash Working Group, and the Common Cash Facility (CCF)
Meeting, and disseminate Minutes of Meetings to internal stakeholders within UNRWA.

3. Administrative Duties:
– Responsible for the technical integrity, accuracy, timeliness and maintenance of all Palestine
Refugees from Syria data in the Emergency module on the information management systems
(i.e. RRIS and ActivityInfo), from error detection phase to error correction phase in
collaboration with the Emergency Social Workers.
– Oversee Emergency Social Workers access privileges to system resources and data entry.
– Provide support and guidance for Emergency Social Workers in verifying and entering data
of the PRS.
– Deliver training on operational database (RRIS and ActivityInfo) to users.
– Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Education
– A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Data Analytics or other
related discipline.

Job Specific Qualifications
– Experience in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft SQL is required.

Work Experience
– At least five years relevant experience in IT or Information Management work is required
Languages
– Excellent command of written and spoken Arabic and English.

surrounding refugees.
• Knowledge and understanding of the Palestine refugee situation in the political context of
the Middle East.

Equivalent to LDC Band F, Step 1. Six (6) months contract. Daily Paid Rate starting from
JOD 42.452
