Information Management Officer Ukraine* At Welthungerhilfe

The position is open to Ukranian nationals only and to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. The employment location will be Kyiv, Ukraine.

Alliance15 members Welthungerhilfe (WHH), Concern Worldwide and Cesvi are working together in Ukraine using their combined resources and reach, to ensure a quick and effective emergency response to assist the crisis-affected population. This response, known as JERU (Joint Emergency Response Ukraine), is working inside of Ukraine to support conflict affected communities. As Information Management Officer for our Joint Emergency Response Ukraine (JERU), your aim will be to provide information management support to our programme or projects in Ukraine.

Your responsibilities

  • Collect, curate and synthesize information pertaining to JERU programme response and produce a range of internal and external information products
  • Conduct/support the analysis and verification of data collected from MEAL and Programme departments in line with MEAL Manager requirements, to provide reports & metrics on a regular basis
  • Monitor data entry, quality and systems, maintaining accurate programme databases and ensuring adherence to all relevant data protection standards
  • Collaborate closely with information counterparts (such as cluster and sub-clusters) to ensure that all relevant humanitarian information is obtained and regularly shared with coordination mechanisms
  • Support the filling and sharing of 5W and any other relevant and regular data collection sheets to increase coordination at the national level
  • Support the creation of a digital platform to collect beneficiaries’ data and present info-graphics about programme results, ensuring adherence to all relevant data protection standards
  • Support MEAL Coordinator and MEAL Manager in strengthening data collection design, procedures, methodologies and analysis

Your profile

  • Relevant professional qualification or formal vocational training with additional qualifications
  • 3-5 years of job-related professional experience
  • Strong MS Teams skills
  • Willingness to travel within Ukraine
  • Fluency in Ukrainian
  • Russian and or English language skills are an asset
