We are looking for an Inhouse Telemarketing Manager at an exciting new phase for Oxfam while we launch our new Engagement Strategy. Our Engagement Strategy has challenging ambitions for Oxfam to grow its supporter base and income, and build a culture based on feminist values and principles.

What you’ll be doing:

In this role, you will be pproviding telephone marketing expertise to build an inhouse telephone marketing operation that will deliver to ambitious supporter recruitment, development and retention goals.

  • Experience of managing a large telephone marketing operation for fundraising, managing a complex programme with multiple concurrent calling programmes (especially focused on Regular Giving).
  • A data-led decision maker who has driven continuous improvement through testing and learning.
  • Ability to inspire and make remote callers feel essential to our mission delivery.
  • A team player who can work effectively with other teams with overlapping responsibility for supporters in a way that gets the best outcome for supporters and avoids silos.
  • Flexible and agile – able to adapt and change plans quickly in order to take unexpected opportunities.
  • High levels of curiosity & external awareness – seeking to learn from others inside and outside of the sector and to be the best.
