Integrity Manager (m-f-d) At Forest Stewardship Council

THE SCOPE

This position contributes directly to ensuring the integrity and credibility of the FSC system. The Manager works to deliver targeted solutions to address FSC supply chain integrity, in particular to investigate and prevent the occurrence of false claims and wrongdoings. The employee will work on integrity investigations and projects, identification of integrity risks and preparation and implementation of relevant solutions, including changes to FSC normative framework, while also managing projects with external partners.

MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

List of roles and responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain integrity investigations and execute follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate with ASI, CBs, FSC staff and FSC Network to address supply chain integrity issues.
  • Support communication, including crisis communications, for supply chain integrity activities.
  • Provide support for the development and adoption of integrity tools and revision of FSC normative requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective contacts and good relations with stakeholders affected by relevant normative documents and supply chain integrity activities.
  • Identify, advise on, monitor and review system improvement.
  • Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.

YOUR PROFILE

Working Education and Training:

  • University/technical college degree or equivalent training or experience in a field of auditing, forensics, law, political sciences, accounting, international trade, forestry or other relevant specialization.

Working Experience, Style and Skills:

  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience related to the roles and responsibilities of this position.
  • Auditing, quality assurance, insurance or forensic investigation experience is an asset.
  • Training in or experience with FSC certification or other certification schemes is a plus.
  • Sound project management experience.
  • Experience in writing, reviewing, revising, and/or editing technical documents, making them light and user-friendly by using the appropriate style and terminology.
  • Analytical and structured approach to problems.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize and complete work tasks.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Solution and service-oriented attitude to work.
  • Work ethics to maintain good relationships with internal and external parties.
  • Attention to detail.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Other languages are a plus.
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills.

Computer Skills – good skills in the use of/experience with:

  • Standard software packages (MS Office), in particular experience with analysing data in Excel, Power BI and solid experience with Power Point are a plus.

Others:

  • Experience in working in a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, global team.
  • Commitment to FSC’s mission and values.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to the diversity of values, views and approaches to issues relevant to the FSC program by stakeholders around the world.

Terms and Conditions

  • Location: Bonn, Germany.
  • Working Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week.
  • Duration of Employment: Temporary contract – 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
