Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian medical association created in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: mainly in the event of armed conflicts, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters or even exclusion from care. The French section is present in around thirty countries.

We are looking for an Intern – Data Analyst.

Mission:

Within the private fundraising department, under the supervision of the BI, Studies and Statistics Activity Manager:

• You participate in the production of tools allowing the management of the collection activity.
• You support the carrying out of studies and ad hoc or sectoral marketing analyses, in response to the needs expressed by the collection department services.

Main responsibilities:

Regarding the management of the collection activity:

• You participate in the production and maintenance of collection reports in order to help with management.
• You participate in the functional improvement of internal BI tools.
• You design SQL queries.
• You monitor and analyze collection results, interacting with users.
• You respond to extraction requests from internal or external users.
• You control and analyze the results.
• You document the procedures.

Regarding marketing analyzes and market studies:

• You participate in the collection and production of donor studies, donations and behavior analyses, donor profiles and segmentations (including web journeys).
• You participate in carrying out ad-hoc donor studies, following specific requests.
• You cultivate collaborative work with other services or departments as part of the management of cross-functional projects.
• You monitor new developments and trends in your profession.

Required profile:

Formation :

You have initial training in data or statistics or applied mathematics, marketing research (Bac+5 minimum).

SKILLS :

• You have a good knowledge of databases and their environment.
• You know SQL language (Oracle would be a plus).
• You easily use at least one analysis software (R, Python, etc.).
• You have excellent command of the IT tools necessary for your job.

LANGUAGES :

Fluency in written and spoken French (B2 minimum).

Status :

Minimum 6-month internship, with mandatory tripartite internship agreement. Based in Paris with occasional travel possible.

Conditions :

6-month full-time internship (35 hours). The amount of the bonus is between €4.35 and €7.70 gross per hour depending on the level of studies.

1 restaurant voucher is awarded per day worked, with a face value of €11 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières). 2 days of compensated rest per month. 50% coverage of the public transport subscription (no coverage of train tickets for residents outside Ile de France coming to work in Paris).
