Intern – Partnership Development Support M/F At Doctors Without Borders

Médecins Sans Frontières, an international humanitarian medical association founded in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened: primarily in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, and even exclusion from healthcare.

As part of a replacement, we are looking for a:

Intern – Partnership Development Support M/F

Assignment :

Within the MSF France fundraising department, the mission of the interns in the partnerships and philanthropy department is to support the team in developing donations from companies on the following issues:

Main activities:

Partnership monitoring and loyalty:

• Manage and monitor the relationship with a portfolio of partner companies.
• Participate in the monitoring and implementation of action plans with partner companies (events, employee gatherings, meetings, etc.);
• Write notes on the association’s projects, funding proposals and reports on funded programs;
• Participate in the drafting of partnership agreements.

Prospecting and monitoring:

• Participate in the identification of relevant companies to approach and help solicit them;
• Contribute to the analysis and evaluation of risks and opportunities of partnership with certain companies, particularly with regard to ethical and reputational issues ( due diligence );
• Participate in the development of tailor-made partnership proposals for certain key partners or prospects;
• Document and respond to certain incoming partnership proposals;
• Monitor strategic contacts and companies, business/association partnerships, philanthropy, sponsorship and CSR, BtoB marketing, etc. according to the department’s needs

3. Transversal:

• Supervise the arrival of donations and manage their registration in conjunction with the Partnerships team and the relevant departments;
• Develop or update tools for monitoring the service’s activity: databases, letters of commitment and partnership agreements, meeting and activity reports;
• Contribute to the organization of department events (breakfasts, meetings, webinars, etc.);
• Participate in the communication actions of the Partnerships division: design and/or updating of communication materials, writing of content (website, partner newsletter, donor journal, etc.) according to the needs of the department;

Profile sought:

Education/Experience:

• Higher education (Grande École, IEP, university), preferably specializing in marketing / communication / CSR / Sustainable development
• BAC +4 minimum
• Initial experience in the sponsorship/CSR sector, fundraising or BtoB marketing is appreciated

Required qualities:

• Rigorous mind, Ability to work independently, methodical, organized
• Good interpersonal skills, dynamic

Skills: Excellent writing skills, Proficiency in Office suite.

Languages: Advanced French (C2) and fluent English (B2 min).

Status : 6-month internship, full-time. Mandatory internship agreement. Position based in Paris 19th (14-34, avenue Jean Jaurès) – Teleworking limited to 2 days per week

Terms :

• The amount of the gratuity is between €4.35 and €7.70 gross per hour depending on the level of studies.
• One restaurant voucher is allocated per day worked, with a face value of €12 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières).
• 2 days of paid rest per month.
• 50% coverage of public transport subscription.
