The Christian Rural and Urban Development Association of Nigeria (CRUDAN), a Non-profit Christian NGO with membership drawn from churches, Christian organizations and individual Christians that are engaged or interested in development work in Nigeria requires the service of the following personnel:
CRUDAN seeks to employ a qualified candidate to fill the position below for a period of one year renewable.
Job Title: Internal Auditor
Job Location: CRUDAN Head Office, Sabon Bariki – Bukuru, Plateau State.
SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:
a. Independent appraisal of CRUDAN’s Internal Controls, both Financial and Non- financial to ensure compliance.
b. To maintain effective working relationship with all sections/departments/zones at all times.
c. To check all payment vouchers before actual payments are done.
d. To check and confirm monthly payrolls, deductions and other payroll expenses.
e. To check all schedules of payments and ensure that they are accurately computed
f. To check out specific audit investigations as may be required by Management/Board or any approved committee.
g. To determine the effectiveness of Internal Controls through regular checks and advise appropriately
h. To check the pricing policies through regular market survey for effective control.
i. To check, monitor and keep records of all items in Store and report on same monthly/quarterly/annually.
j. To work hand in hand with External Auditors.
k. To present monthly internal audit report using a comprehensive internal audit reporting format.
l. To carry out any other task(s) that may be assigned by Management.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
a. BSc/Higher National Diploma in Accounting/Auditing; ANAN and ICAN is an added advantage.
b. 3 years cognate experience
c. Computer literacy including spreadsheet.
d. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
e. Applicants must be committed Born Again Christians.
