Title of the project:

Empowerment of Local CSOs and Increasing Communication and Collaboration for Effective Functioning and Representation

Background

The overall objective of this project is to support the development of civil society by empowering (Turkish and Syrian) CSOs at grassroot level, including enhancing their capacities and networking them together.

The capacity building program is designed to empower the local CSOs in fundamental subjects which concern them the most. These subjects are community organizing, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic analyzing and planning, policy–making, media and advocacy.

1. Duration and time frame

● The 4 working days will be expected in August 2021.

● 1 day for joint orientation session and for 3 days for three days of consolation with authorities.

● The working days will take place in Gaziantep city.

2. Experience and Skill Requirements: Qualifications:

● Minimum university degree.

● Extensive experience at least 1 year.

● Extensive knowledge of the civil society sector in Turkey or Syria.

● Demonstrated high level of professionalism and an ability to work independently and in high pressure situations under tight deadlines.

● Excellent inter-personal communication skills including experience of facilitation of training and presentation.

● Fluency written and spoken in Arabic and Turkish, and English would be an asset.

● Turkish nationality.
