THE INTERNSHIP.

Context

Bioforce is looking for an IT intern for its Africa entity located in Dakar (Senegal).

Your main missions will be to support the logistics department in the management of technical support, maintenance of systems and networks, and IT security.

Activities

Under the supervision of the support functions manager, your missions will be to:

Assistance technique :

• User support to resolve first-level hardware and software issues.
• Installation, configuration and updating of workstations (PCs and laptops).
• Ensure maintenance of IT equipment (printers, routers, etc.).
• Participate in user training on IT tools

Systems and network management:

• Participate in local network monitoring to ensure optimal connectivity.
• Support for user account management on platforms (Office 365, SharePoint, etc.).
• Contribute to the documentation of IT processes and user guides.
• Document recurring problems and their solutions

Data management and security:

• Participate in the implementation of IT security policies (passwords, access, etc.).
• Contribute to monitoring IT security incidents.

DESIRED PROFILE.

Knowledge & Experience

Initial professional experience in network and infrastructure administration.

Ability to troubleshoot issues with collaboration tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and ensure their use.

Networks and connectivity: good level of knowledge in computer networks (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).

Proficiency in Windows operating systems.

Notions of computer security.

Understanding databases.

Formation

BAC+2/3 in telecoms & networks, or management IT.

Qualities
