This is a 12-month mandate in Amman-Jordan.

The mandate stems from the Equality in Action Voluntary Cooperation Program (PCV), which is being rolled out in 12 countries and 3 regions over an eight-year period (2020-2028). The PCV aims to increase the involvement of local partner organizations in countries of intervention in inclusive, innovative and sustainable initiatives that will advance gender equality. In close collaboration with the Oxfam team members in the country of intervention, the volunteer will support partners in efforts to secure funding, build strategic partnerships, and develop innovative approaches to expand their programs and impact. The advisor will also support the organizations in identifying relevant calls for proposals and high-quality applications. The main responsibilities are to:

  • Support efforts to secure funding by developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, through one-on-one interactions with partners.
  • Support partners in building and maintaining strategic partnerships with national and international civil society actors and donors.
  • Support team in identifying and responding to relevant calls for proposals, ensuring alignment with donor priorities and organizational goals.
