Learning and Organisation Development Advisor – Digital Designer
Location: UK Flexible (hybrid role working between home and office – with the requirement to attend the London office approximately once per month)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £35,000 per annum (plus £3,344 Inner London Weighting allowance if applicable)

About this opportunity

As Learning and Organisation Development Advisor – Digital Designer, you will play a key role ensuring the organisation is able to meet its strategic aims, by ensuring that the design, delivery and maintenance of digital learning meets the organisational needs.
Reporting to the Learning and Organisation Development Manager, you will provide expertise around digital learning and learning platform management, leading on the design and development of a positive user experience of the platform as well as other innovative learning solutions.
You will be responsible for the development and delivery of the digital learning content strategy ensuring the learner journeys and content across the platform are engaging, meet the quality standards, always remain relevant and provide a positive learner experience, setting up and developing communities of best practice around digital learning design and usage of the platform and promote digital learning through upskilling and engagement.
You will be required to partner with stakeholders across the organisation to scope, agree and implement digital learning solutions across the British Red Cross, ensuring a fresh, i nnovative and impactful learning experience for all of learners which makes best use of the wider possibilities of digital delivery through the learning platform, proactively identifying opportunities to meet digital learning needs and create proposals for revised digital learning solutions
This role may be for you if…

  • You have previous experience working in a learning design role, designing, organising and delivering blended and bite sized digital learning solutions
  • You can demonstrate experience of LMS administration and implementation (Cornerstone Learning will be advantageous, but not essential)
  • You have strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to evaluation
  • You are able to author digital learning using a range of software (including Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360 Suite, Vyond and the Adobe Creative Cloud)
  • You have knowledge of HRML and CSS Coding along with strong graphic design skills, creative abilities, meticulous attention to detail and confidence using design software
  • You have experience of producing resources to support the rollout of new initiatives
  • You have strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to communicate confidently with a range of diverse stakeholders through a variety of mechanisms (including written and verbal)
