Habitat for Humanity international is looking for Logistics and Administration Officer to support HFHI’s Ukraine programs by managing logistics (procurement, transportation, warehousing), administration (office operations, meetings), and ensuring compliance.
This position is to be based in Kyiv, Ukraine.
The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package. The monthly gross pay starts at 57, 920 UAH gross / month (the final remuneration will be determined based on the candidate’s competence and experience, along with applicable benefits.).
What would be your responsibilities?
- Manage procurement, transportation, and inventory as well as vehicle fleet operations.
- Ensure compliance with HFHI policies, and support emergency logistics if needed.
- Lead the procurement process, manage vendor selection and relationships, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Manage office operations, ensure a functional and efficient work environment, and provide logistical support for travel arrangements, meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
- Maintain inventory of assets and ensure regular maintenance of equipment and vehicles, including safety and security items.
- Work with program, finance, and operations team for integration of logistics, and provide rapid logistics support during crises.
- Track and maintain accurate records for proper documentation and audit.
What do we require?
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Logistics, Transportation).
- Proficiency in Ukrainian and English.
- 3-5 years of experience in logistics, asset management and administration, preferably in the (I)NGO sector in Ukraine.
- Experience with and good knowledge of procurement laws in Ukraine and compliance requirements.
- Competence in budget management, record-keeping, and report generation.
- Ability to support and/or train partners in logistics and procurement for capacity building.
- Driving license and driving experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel within Ukraine and internationally.
