Created in 1979, Action Against Hunger is an international non-governmental organization that fights against hunger in the world. Its charter of humanitarian principles – independence, neutrality, non-discrimination, free and direct access to victims, professionalism, transparency – has founded its identity for more than 40 years. Its mission is to save lives by eliminating hunger through the prevention, detection and treatment of undernutrition, particularly during and after emergencies linked to conflict and natural disasters. Action Against Hunger coordinates its programs around 5 areas of activity: Nutrition and Health – Mental Health, Psychosocial Support and Protection – Food Security and Livelihoods – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene – Advocacy. Under the supervision of the field Coordinator, you will be responsible for the followings missions:
Manage the logistics activity of the area,
Implement and ensure supply chain performance,
Implement and ensure the performance of General Services,
Implementing and ensuring IT, network and telecommunications performance,
Contribute to safety management,
Implement and monitor collaboration and logistical coordination with mission partners,
Manage the base’s logistics team,
Produce a complete monthly logistics report,
Monitor logistics indicators and analyse them,

You hold a graduate degree in logistics, and you have at least 3 years of experience in managing humanitarian supply chain in the field for an international NGO, including an experience in a security-tense context.
You have a thorough understanding of donor rules and regulations.
As a manager, you have developed strong training and capacity-building skills, including experience in remote control.
Strong computer and communication equipment skills, including Microsoft Office applications, are required.
Familiarity with the regional/national culture and dynamics is a major asset.
Knowledge of ACF operations and practices will be a plus.
Fluent English compulsory, Portuguese-speaking skills desirable.
