The association

Asmae is an independent and secular association under the 1901 law recognized as being of public utility. It was created in 1980 by Sister Emmanuelle to provide protection and education to the most vulnerable children in the world.

Present in 8 countries: Egypt, Lebanon, India, Philippines, Madagascar, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and France. Asmae supports local actors while also acting at the institutional level.

The mission

The Headquarters Management is composed of the General Director of the association, the Secretary General, the Director of International Action and the Director of Private Resources and Communication. The Management Support Intern provides administrative and organizational support to the Headquarters Management.

The post

This internship will include the following activities:

1. Operational support

– Support management in the project management of developing Asmae’s 2026-2030 strategy.

– Write, format, translate, summarize reports, summary notes (e.g. sector studies), documents (e.g. project timeline and summary).

– Contribute to the reflection and development of documents or processes linked to the organization and activities of Asmae (governance, volunteering, employer brand, etc.).

– Contribute to the search for volunteers for specific needs (interpreters, etc.).

2. Financial and administrative support

– Provide ad hoc financial and administrative support to the DG.

– Support the wishes and handwritten words of major donors in conjunction with the Director of Private Resources and Communication.

– Participate in the drafting of reports for private donors.

– Organize management meetings and trips and manage the agenda.

– Sort, classify and store print and digital files.

3. Support for cross-functional activities

– Participate and contribute to different working groups.

– Contribute to internal communication, support the Yadlavie committee for the organization of internal events.

– Support the organization of Asmae seminars.

– Provide occasional support to other members of the management committee.

– Occasionally support the various departments as needed.

Required profile

Training/knowledge

  • Political science studies

Required professional skills

  • Good writing skills.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken French, good level of English.
  • Proficiency in office tools.

Internship conditions at Asmae

  • Status: Intern
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date:As soon as possible
  • Full time: 35 hours/week
  • Compensation : In accordance with legal provisions
  • Social benefits: Meal vouchers with a face value of €10 (60% of which is covered by Asmae), 50% reimbursement of public transport network subscriptions, 2 days of leave per month
  • Internship location: Montreuil (93) / 2 days of teleworking per week according to Charter
