The health and advocacy department is made up of 3 divisions:
- The expertise, themes and advocacy center
- The quality center for health practices
- The research and learning center
The post
Under the supervision of the head of the research and learning division, your mission will be to support the teams in the development and implementation of the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning, Accountability) strategy for health projects in order to guarantee the availability, quality and consistency of information for project management.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
Monitoring and evaluation of projects
- Carry out the collection and participate in the needs analysis
- Develop and implement the monitoring framework and tools
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the project monitoring and evaluation plan
Accountability
- Finalize the framework for standard operational processes related to feedback mechanisms
- Support teams in its implementation at project level
Learning
- Analyze trends from individual or collective data to identify opportunities for improving and adapting projects.
- Set up discussion spaces between teams
- Promoting good practices in project and data management
Data management
- Help teams configure the collective project monitoring data management tool (monitool)
- Support teams in setting up/monitoring an individual patient data management system
Capacity building
- Train teams in the use of the tools and forms created and in good practices to ensure data quality
- Provide support to teams and partners responsible for implementing projects
- Participate in carrying out briefings/debriefings for headquarters and field teams internationally on project monitoring
Maintenance and evolution
- Contribute to the processing of reports of technical problems encountered by users.
- Participate in meetings relating to monitoring maintenance progress and the development of the existing tool
- Participate in the creation of specifications as part of the improvement of the existing tool
- Provide support for data verification, quality control and consistency
- Contribute to the consideration of possible modifications that would make this data more usable
Profile sought
- Training in humanitarian project management
- Basic training in statistics and public health is an asset
- Advanced training on Excel software from the Office Pack
- Minimum 2 years of experience with progressive responsibilities, ideally in an international health NGO
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience in MEAL
- Ability to develop, adapt and formalize tools relating to the collection, management and analysis of medical and social data
- Good knowledge of standards and regulations regarding the protection of personal data (GDPR)
- Project cycle management proficiency
- Ability to produce statistics and data for project proposals and reports
- Adaptability, flexibility
- Managing resistance to change
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good command of Kobo Toolbox, REDcap or DHIS2 software is an asset
- Language: fluency in written and spoken English and French essential, Spanish is an asset

Conditions of employment
- Fixed-term contract from 01/02/25 to 31/01/2026
- Occasional trips to be expected in the countries of the international missions being followed
- Gross monthly salary of 2,991 euros
- Status: employee
- Equivalent to 13th month paid in 2 installments – from 6 months of actual work seniority
- Mutual insurance (60% participation by MdM and 40% by the employee)
- 22.5 RTT / year
- 5 weeks of paid vacation / year
- Meal vouchers worth 9.00 euros (60% contribution from MdM)
- 50% reimbursement of public transport tickets
- Teleworking agreement subject to eligibility of your position: 110 days of teleworking per year (i.e. an average of 2.5 days of teleworking per week) with the obligation to work in person at least 5 days per month
