ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Internews is seeking a Russian and English-speaking Media Advisor/Program Manager for a multi-year project based in either Vilnius; Lithuania; Kyiv, Ukraine; or Warsaw, Poland. The project aims to support the production of high-quality, engaging news and information by regional media partners, build media literacy and critical thinking skills among both content creators and the public, and commission research to inform project activities and combat disinformation. We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic professional who enjoys working collaboratively with other staff and partners to achieve shared goals. Comfort working in a digital-first environment with a cross-border team is essential.

LOGISTICS

Currently Internews can only provide work authorization for candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Vilnius, Lithuania. Candidates wishing to reside elsewhere must possess independent work authorization.

Wherever possible, we work to try to find solutions for international hiring that work for both the company and the candidate. This means that some of the particulars around the offer for a role will be dependent on several factors, and that the benefits and salary structure that apply to a position will ultimately be based upon the candidate’s location and where the role is hired.

This position has an anticipated closing date of 26 November 2021.
