Job Summary:
The Media Production Expert will play a pivotal role in creating impactful media content aimed at raising awareness on critical topics. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in media production within governmental and nongovernmental contexts, demonstrating the ability to produce high-quality content that effectively communicates important messages to diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Media Content Production:
- Develop, produce, and edit multimedia content, including videos, podcasts, and digital media, to support awareness campaigns.
- Ensure all content is engaging, informative, and aligns with the organization’s objectives.
- Project Management:
- Lead media production projects from concept to completion.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with communication teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop content that addresses key issues.
- Coordinate with governmental and nongovernmental organizations to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Creative Direction:
- Provide creative direction and guidance to production teams.
- Innovate and implement new media formats and storytelling techniques to enhance audience engagement.
- Technical Expertise:
- Operate and maintain production equipment, including cameras, audio equipment, and editing software.
- Stay updated with the latest media production trends and technologies.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and critique media content to ensure high standards of quality and compliance with organizational guidelines.
- Implement feedback and revisions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication, Media and Journalism, Political Science, Law, Social Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in media production within governmental and nongovernmental organizations.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in producing media content focused on raising awareness on critical topics.
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools and software.
- Strong storytelling and visual communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
