MOLDOVA – COUNTRY DIRECTOR (H/F) – CHISINAU At Solidarités International

Location: Chisinau with regular stays in entry points and transit centers all over the country

  1. Assistance to Ukrainian refugees going to Moldova at entry point
  2. Distribution of hot food
  3. Distribution of drinkable water
  4. Support to transit

  2. Distribution of basic NFI
  3. Distribution of drinkable water

Security risks: Moldova is relatively safe and not directly impacted by the conflict

ABSOLUTELY requested to be very flexible and to know that there is no standard JD or tasks to be applied. Each person must come motivated, knowing the needs and ready to do what is necessary in potentially complex logistics environment and rough living conditions

ABOUT THE JOB

General objective:

Coordination and strategic orientation, relevance and operational quality / operations monitoring, security management, relationships with donors / fund-raising, representation, internal/external communication.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Good knowledge and comfortable in external coordination and representation with local authorities
  • Good knowledge and comfortable with the usual institutional donors (ECHO, BHA, UN Agencies, CDCS)
  • Ability to propose partnerships, consortium to ease the development of the mission
  • In the absence of a HR Coordinator, comfortable with HR management and HR monitoring tools
  • Security management
