The Program
Funded by the Australian Government, the Incentive Fund Phase 4 (IF4) aims to attract, identify and incentivize high performing organisations to expand the reach, coverage and quality of their contribution to service delivery and/or economic development in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Projects funded over the life of the IF4 include the building and redevelopment of markets, primary and secondary schools, tertiary and technical institutions, health centres, hospitals and laboratories.
Tetra Tech International Development is the managing contractor for the Incentive Fund and is seeking a highly experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Coordinator to join the team. This full-time role will be located in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, ideally with a start in mid to late October.
The Position
The Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator is responsible for liaising with partner organisations and project stakeholders to collect, collate and analyze monitoring and evaluation data and information for Incentive Fund’s supported initiatives, under the direction of the Monitoring & Evaluation Manager.
This role will work collaboratively with the broader IF4 team and partner organisations, to plan and implement MEL activities and support the development of M&E Frameworks in line with IF4’s quality standards.
The Person
The successful candidate will demonstrate practical experience planning and supporting the delivery of sub-national M&E activities, working with a range of stakeholders to develop and implement effective monitoring and reporting systems, as well as undertaking monitoring and evaluation fieldwork. Ideally the candidate will have experience supporting partner organisations with data collection activities, including training on processes and procedures. The successful candidate has experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a range of key stakeholders including private sector, public sector, and civil society organisations.
