ADD International is looking for a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Advisor to lead the co-ordination and design of our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning activities helping us better understand the impact of our work to date, develop systems to ensure that we understand the impact of our new approach moving forward and produce knowledge for our collaboration and advocacy work.

- Salary: Competitive
- Location: Flexible – UK – Frome or home-based (applicants must already have a right to work in the UK), or one of our country offices in Uganda, Tanzania, Sudan, Bangladesh or Cambodia
- Reports to: Director of Programmes
- Contract: Fixed term contract of 12 months. Full time, we are open to considering part-time working and/or two people delivering the role in a job-share.

Role Context
This is a role for someone who is passionate about shifting power in international development work and wants to apply their monitoring, evaluation and learning skills to that process to support and enable it helping ensure that we are a learning organisation guided by our values and able to meaningfully understand and communicate our impact.
Amongst other things, the successful candidate will need to have:
- Experience in providing leadership, support and guidance in the development, management and implementation of monitoring and evaluation policies, systems, methods and approaches, and linking into organisational learning and practice
- Experience in international development, including experience working in developing countries and with marginalised groups, ideally within an international NGO
- Understanding of social and organisational change, and working with southern-based organisations
- Experience of successfully managing relationships with a large institutional donor on Learning and Accountability (including M&E)
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of accountability theories and practices
