Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager At Anti-Slavery International

Seeking an experienced MEL professional to play a leading role in the work of Anti-Slavery International, the world’s oldest human rights organisation.

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Manager is critical to the delivery of our five-year strategy and offers the successful candidate opportunities for creativity and growth within a dynamic organisation. Working across programmes, advocacy and campaigns teams, you will:

1. Lead on identifying and evidencing organisational impact in line with our organisational and thematic strategies, including: Developing organisational KPIs; representing the organisation in external fora and with donors; ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies.
2. Work directly with project staff and our implementing partner organisations to: Design and use appropriate monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks and tools for accountability to donors and stakeholders at all levels and for generating evidence for learning and advocacy; Strengthening MEL technical capacity and systems within our own teams and with our partner organisations (in English and French).
3. Lead on building an organisational learning culture, and on developing systems for generating, capturing and using learning and evidence (including the voice and participation of survivors) to achieve our strategic goals. This will include reviewing learning systems and approaches across the organisation in the context of the new organisational and thematic strategies.

The right candidate will have: Excellent technical skills and experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, gained over at least 5 years in the field of human rights/ working with highly excluded groups; Strong conceptual, analytical and critical thinking as well as the ability to communicate effectively and explain complex issues clearly for internal and external audiences; A good critical grasp of the latest thinking in the sector, tools, codes, standards and practice; Excellent working proficiency in French.

£39,172 – £42,063 p.a. dependent on experience.
