Overview of position:
- Under the overall supervision of the Project Manager (PM) & Community Engagement & Communication Officer & the direct supervision of the MRRM National Officer (NO), the successful candidate will be responsible & accountable for assisting on a wide range of issues associated with implementation of the project related activities & other activities in the field under the Migrant Resource & Response Mechanism (MRRM) project in Tripoli.
Role objectives:
- Support in the coordination and facilitate the implementation & monitoring of relevant outreach activities in target communities, building upon a network of local & NGOs & community leaders (migrants & host community).
- Support in the field activities reporting & send regular updates as requested by the supervisors.
- Register & profile migrants receiving assistance during outreach activities.
- Regularly update database & other information management system & send regular updates to the supervisors & Information Management Assistant as required.
- In coordination with the supervisors, organize regular meetings with the migrants’ community leaders & other stakeholders working on migrants assistance as required.
- Participate in needs assessment & pre distribution assessments as requested by the supervisors.
- Coordinate & manage the logistics & administrative arrangements required to provide appropriate assistance to migrants with vulnerabilities including distribution of NFIs & food items.
- Ensure proper utilization of standard operating procedures, manuals, guidance notes, M&E tools & methodologies in the implementation of project activities as instructed by the supervisors.
- Assist in the logistics arrangements & preparations for social / community events, workshops or meetings in the field as required.
- Support the NO & MRRM Communication Assistant in preparing the visibility materials & collect all the photos of relevant activities, including the interest stories & quotes from the beneficiaries & other stakeholders.
- Ensure gender mainstreaming throughout activities, addressing protection, social, environmental & other relevant cross cutting concerns.
- Perform any other related responsibilities, as assigned by the supervisors.
Project reporting:
- This role works under the overall supervision of the Project Manager (PM) & Community Engagement & Communication Officer & the direct supervision of the MRRM National Officer (NO).
