Introduction

The new USAID Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) Activity is recruiting for multiple positions. The team is looking for extremely well organized and self-directed individuals with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and strong operational focus. Project Background

The USAID Africa Trade and Investment (ATI) program is a five-year, flexible buy-in mechanism jointly managed by the USAID Africa Bureau, Middle East Bureau, and Africa Regional Missions. It was designed to mobilize enterprise-driven solutions that increase trade and investment in Africa, including North and Sub-Saharan Africa. It strengthens Africa’s markets by developing new trade and investment relationships, particularly between the United States and African continent. It also works to achieves development outcomes across all sectors.

Open Positions

Reporting and Analysis Manager

  • Position Summary: support the MEL team with statistical and economic analysis, MEL and reporting including with drafting, monitoring, and reporting on the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Plan (PMEP) and progress against each activity; in monitoring/facilitating sub-activities, ensuring technical support to each activity area is effective and efficient.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 9+ years of experience required, 5+ years on USAID programs
  • Positions location: Pretoria, South Africa

Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Specialist

  • Position Summary: support monitoring and evaluation for the project by drafting, monitoring, and reporting on the monitoring and evaluation plan and progress against each activity; in monitoring/facilitating sub-activities, ensures technical support to each activity area is effective and efficient Bachelor’s Degree required, IT certifications a plus
  • 9+ years of experience required, 5+ years on USAID programs
  • Positions location: Pretoria, South Africa
