Salary: Php 122,000 per month

CONTEXT
Under the overall supervision of the Head of MCD´s Online Communications Unit and the NO-C digital communications officer, the successful candidate will be responsible to support OCU´s senior developer in website development projects for the Online Communications Unit.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field from an accredited academic institution;
- University Degree in the above fields with at least four years of relevant professional experience.
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum two years of experience in developing Drupal websites (Drupal 8.x) and four years of experience in Drupal 7.x, using tools such as Drush, being able to create custom Drupal modules and themes;
- Minimum four years of experience in web development using PHP web frameworks such as Laravel and Symphony, and strong understanding of best practices of PHP development;
- Able to install, configure and secure application/web servers such as Apache and NGINX and database servers such as MySQL, using high availability configuration for CMS driven websites; HTML, CSS, and Javascript expertise. Knowledge of Acquia cloud platform would be an asset.
- Understands Integration concepts (RESTful services, API development, etc.);
- Familiarity in using version control systems such as GIT and SVN;
- Knowledge in Linux OS will be an advantage.
