National Qualitative Researcher At Save the Children

To conduct qualitative fieldwork and transcription/translation services for two research projects that fall under the broader RECOVER project in selected communes of Rolea B’ier District in Kampong Chhnang Province in Cambodia.

The objective of the consultancy is to support Save the Children International (SCI) to carry out qualitative data collection and transcription/translation services for two research projects in Cambodia.

Qualifications and experience

  1. Strong academic background, including Bachelor in Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology,

or similar.

  1. Extensive experience conducting qualitative data collection
  2. Extensive experience transcribing and translating qualitative data into English
  3. Fluency in written and spoken Khmer and English.
  4. Talent, dynamism and fast learner.
  5. Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
  6. Extensive experience in data collection including with children.
  7. Able to work independently with little supervision.
  8. Able to travel to, and stay, in the provinces for the study duration if required.
  9. Strong commitment to achieve targets within a given timeframe.
  10. Willing to learn new things and share knowledge and experiences with team
  11. Commitment to collection of high quality of data

The consultancy period:Project based (1st Dec 2021 – 31st Jan 2022)
