THE Mentor Initiative is currently expanding its operational research across three continents, evaluating new methods for disease control and their suitability and effectiveness in humanitarian crisis settings. These are primarily focused on vector borne diseases such as malaria, dengue and leishmaniasis.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled Masters graduate in Epidemiology to join our team at HQ to contribute to our expanding research portfolio. Whilst based in the UK, this team member will be ready to spend periods of time in our operational research sites globally. Predominantly in crisis settings where they will work closely with our country teams to help ensure the quality and robustness of our research.
The ideal candidate will have excellent data management and analytical skills and be a proficient user of STATA. At least two years experience in academic research is required.
If you have the right skills and are flexible, innovative and a good problem solver then we would like to talk to you. A second or third language of French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an advantage.
You must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
