Focus on Asia – Africa
The AS-AF Pole is made up of 8 people. The mission of its members is to ensure support for missions in all operations to achieve the objectives set, while respecting the mandate of the Association, and its internal and external procedures.
And the Operations Assistant at the Asia – Africa Pole in all this?
As an Operations Assistant in the Asia Africa Center, under the responsibility of the Program Manager, you will assist all members of the Center (Program Managers, Donor Contract Manager and Geographic Manager) in the development, the implementation and operational monitoring of PUI programs in the field.
You will contribute in particular to the capitalization of contextual information and propose appropriate documents for the preparation of expatriates for their departure. You will thus learn to master the management and monitoring of projects and you will become familiar with humanitarian action and the functioning of a headquarters. You will participate in the capitalization and monitoring of projects in their technical component according to your profile and the operational priorities of the Pole (health, mental health, nutrition, water hygiene sanitation, food security and livelihoods, protection). Involvement in the technical aspects will be at the discretion of the Program Manager according to the profile of the intern and the operational priorities defined.
What you’ll need to land this internship
- An Agreement issued by your training organization!: As such, you are in the process of obtaining a higher diploma (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in a field related to humanitarian action: project management, technical training related to one of our sectors of intervention, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Economics, etc.
- Experience: Associative experience, in France or abroad, will be valued.
- Skills: You have excellent writing skills and solid computer skills (Word, Excel).
- Required qualities: You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate autonomy, curiosity and know how to be proactive. You have good adaptability and organizational skills.
- Languages: Do you know French and English like the back of your hand? Great, they are two essential languages for this position!

PUI will offer you
- Bonus: €4.90/hour
- Support: Support of up to 50% of the transport ticket and up to 60% of the Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
- Rest : 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
