Focus on the Middle East Pole

The MO Pole is made up of 7 people. The Middle East Pole is made up of 7 people. The mission of its members is to follow and support the Syria, Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine missions.

And what about the Operations Assistant at the Middle East Pole in all this?

As an Operations Assistant at the Middle East Center, you will assist the Center’s Program Manager in the development, implementation and operational monitoring on the ground of PUI programs.
You will particularly contribute to the capitalization of contextual information and propose appropriate documents for preparing expatriates for departure. You will thus learn to master the management and monitoring of projects and you will familiarize yourself with humanitarian action and the functioning of a headquarters. You will participate in the capitalization and monitoring of projects in their technical component according to your profile and the operational priorities of the Cluster (health, mental health, nutrition, water hygiene sanitation, food security and livelihood, protection). Involvement in technical aspects will be at the discretion of the Program Manager according to the profile of the intern and the operational priorities defined.

What you’ll need to land this internship

  • An Agreement issued by your training organization! : As such, you are in the process of obtaining a higher diploma (min. Master 2 or equivalent) in a field linked to humanitarian action: project management, technical training linked to one of our sectors intervention, Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Economics, etc.
  • Experience: Experience in an association, in France or abroad, will be valued.
  • Skills: You have excellent writing skills and solid IT skills (Word, Excel).
  • Required qualities: You demonstrate good interpersonal skills, ease of communication, both written and oral, and you have a taste for teamwork. You demonstrate autonomy, curiosity and know how to be proactive. You have good adaptability and organizational skills.
  • Languages: French and English hold no secrets for you? So much the better, these are two essential languages ​​for this position!

PUI will offer you

  • Bonus: €4.90/hour
  • Coverage: Coverage of 50% of the transport ticket and 60% of the Restaurant Tickets (with a face value of €10)
  • Rest : 1 RTT per month (37 hours/week)
