Attached to the international operations department, the institutional development department’s mandate is to provide support to operations (headquarters and land) in the acquisition (fundraising) and management (compliance) of financing from public donors, i.e. from 50 to 55 million euros per year.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Under the direct supervision of the head of the institutional development department, your mission is to monitor and update the tools for capitalizing on experiences with donors, to provide support for the management of certain administrative or technical files, and analyze and synthesize related information.

Your main responsibilities are:

Management (compliance)

  • Regularly update the reference donor database
  • Respond to requests from department colleagues
  • Regularly update service capitalization documents
  • Archive lessor contractual documents
  • Guarantee the organization’s compliance with donor communication and visibility requirements
  • Check, complete, modify the wording of the administrative parts of the financing application files
  • Participate in the management of the teams responsible for support (headquarters) and those responsible for grants (field)
  • Support the service in the technical support provided to the headquarters and field operational teams when submitting proposals

Training (helpdesk)

  • Support the service in briefings for field and headquarters staff
  • Develop and distribute service communication documents
  • Support the service in updating donor rules and the “documentary base” of donor responses
  • Ensure the service interface with the Eurasia hub

Acquisition (fundraising)

  • Support the department in seeking funding and responding to calls for projects
  • Distribute fundraising tools to field teams

Implementation of the SAP ERP (donor contracts part)

  • Ensure jointly with the department manager the effective participation of the department in the implementation of the ERP, particularly during the “acceptance” phase from April to July 2024 and during the “pilot” thereafter
  • Manage the transfer of activities from the DDI database to the SAP tool

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Fixed-term contract / 9.5 months
  • Full time
  • Position to be filled from April 2, 2024
  • Gross monthly salary of 2,991 euros
  • 13th month equivalent paid in 2 installments – from 6 months of actual work seniority
  • Mutual (60% participation of MdM and 40% of the employee)
  • 22.5 RTT / year
  • 5 weeks of paid vacation / year
  • Restaurant vouchers worth 9.00 euros (60% contribution from MdM)
  • Public transport ticket reimbursement at 50%
  • Teleworking agreement subject to eligibility of your position: 110 days of teleworking per year (i.e. on average 2.5 days of teleworking per week) with the obligation to work face-to-face at least 5 days per month

REQUIRED PROFILE :

  • “Humanitarian” master’s training
  • First experience as a grants officer in an NGO or with a donor
  • Adaptability
  • Organization
  • The ability to work in a team
  • Mastery of Office Pack tools (Excel, Access, Sharepoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the main humanitarian donors
  • Languages: fluent English and French
  • You adhere to the values ​​and activist positioning of Médecins du Monde.
