P/T Human Resources Administrator- HRIS (part-time, 20 hours per week) at International NGO Safety Organisation

Organisation Background

Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international charity that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations and training.

INSO services help NGOs with their day-to-day risk management responsibilities and improve their overall situational awareness to support evidence-based humanitarian access decisions.

Job Summary

The Human Resources Department has grown to include a Human Resources Director, Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Manager- Recruitment, Human Resources Administrator- Recruitment and a Payroll Officer. We are now looking for a highly organised p/t HR Administrator (HRIS) to join our HQ team in The Hague.

The HR Administrator will support the HR team, especially with HRIS, and provide a high-quality human resources service to managers and employees through efficient administration, record keeping, monitoring and coordination of HR activities. The HR Administrator will report to the HR Director.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the administration and maintenance of HRIS, records and databases, sharepoint.

* Conduct regular validation and cleansing of data held for internal compliance, audit and GDPR purposes.

* Act as expert user for the HRIS providing training, support and orientation to other employees at HQ and in Country Offices.

* Produce and devise regular management reports against KPIs, dashboards, and ad hoc reports.

* Assist with projects managed by HR Managers.

* Assist the HR and country Operations teams with internal audit requests

* Be a friendly and efficient point of contact for HQ and international staff, handle queries and liaise with the relevant HR team member for more complex issues.

* Support the HR Director and HR Manager in employee relations, C&B and performance management matters as required.

* Support payroll and recruitment as required.

* Occasionally take notes/ minutes and arrange meetings to support the department as required.

* Support employee engagement surveys.

* Undertake other HR administration duties as requested by the HR Director.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

* English fluency

* Minimum two years of HR administration experience.

* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

* Experience as user and administrator of HRIS applications.

* HR advisory experience to line management.

* Proven administrative and organisational skills.

* Data literate.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Computer literate with Intermediate level in Word for Windows, Excel Spreadsheets and Databases.

Nice to Have:

* HRIS implementation project experience.

* Training experience

* Experience with Cezanne HRIS

* HRIS implementation project experience.

* Knowledge of Dutch employment legislation.

* Experience managing Sharepoint folders.

* Experience with reviewing business processes and designing workflows.

* Power-Bi experience

* HR or business qualification.

* Experience in payroll, compensation and benefits.

* Experience working for a NGO or international organisation.

Terms & Conditions:

Fixed-term (renewable) part-time contract (20 hours per week) based in The Hague, Netherlands, EUR 2000 plus 8% vacation pay (vakentiegeld), 1.25 days annual leave per month. We also provide Basic Premium Health Insurance with ONVZ.
