Partner Coordinator At The Asia Foundation

Program Background

Go Digital ASEAN is a digital skills training initiative, implemented across all ten ASEAN member states. The program equips jobseekers, and MSMEs with the tools and proficiencies necessary to access and participate in the digital economy. In the Philippines, the program aims to help Filipinos in three core areas through three class offerings – Digital Tools for Jobseekers, Harnessing Social Media to Expand your Business, and Getting Your Business Online.

All the programs focus on training participants to use freely available tools or applications to ensure that learners can access and capitalize on readily available digital resources. Go Digital ASEAN emphasizes the abundance of online resources and opportunities available to all. At the same time, it also focuses on making sure that learners understand the importance of using online tools safely to help them reduce their vulnerability while on the internet. These skills training sessions are all interactive and online. The class sizes are smaller with two days dedicated per class. This allows the trainers to encourage learner engagement and participation to provide a more immersive learning experience where participants can learn together.

This is a full-time consultancy position under the Go Digital ASEAN Program in the Philippines.
