action of the French Red Cross contributes to implementing humanitarian projects in more than 45 countries around the world through 20 permanent delegations, 3 regional intervention platforms, 120 delegates on international missions and 800 national collaborators.
The actions carried out cover the priority areas of health and disaster risk management. The French Red Cross also has humanitarian emergency response teams in the areas of health, access to water and emergency distribution.
The health sector is represented by expertise in strengthening health systems, epidemic preparedness and response, as well as prevention and management of infectious diseases, sexual and reproductive health, primary health care, and prevention and management of undernutrition.

JobThe pharmacy technical referent is responsible for ensuring the quality of health products used by the French Red Cross’ international programs and provides technical support for the proper management of these products to international delegations and the relevant departments of the International Operations Department. Mission 1: manage and coordinate the pharmaceutical quality management system and the continuous improvement approach for pharmaceutical processes for the International Operations Department. Updates and develops the quality manual, procedures and associated pharmaceutical tools. Develops and implements continuous improvement initiatives to optimize pharmaceutical processes. Ensures the proper implementation of the pharmaceutical quality system at headquarters and in international delegations through field missions. Monitors and analyzes quality and impact indicators and implements corrective and preventive actions. Coordinates the monitoring of quality alerts and pharmaceutical vigilance. Mission 2: Provide pharmaceutical technical support to international delegationsProvides technical support to technical and logistics teams to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain: support for writing and budgeting projects on the pharmacy side, support for developing delegation supply strategies, order planning, validation of standard project lists and quantifications of needs, carrying out technical visits to local suppliers, order monitoring, monitoring and analysis of consumption.Supervises the implementation of good pharmaceutical practices in international projects with technical and logistics teams: monitoring compliance with good storage, distribution and dispensing practices.Provides training on the technical and regulatory aspects of pharmacy. Mission 3: Provide pharmaceutical technical support to the relevant departments of the International Operations DirectorateProvides technical support to the Logistics and Purchasing department to ensure the smooth running of the medical supply chain: qualification of suppliers and product sources, monitoring of international orders.Contributes to the Health department’s capitalization on data, experiences and best practices around health products.Collaborates with the International Emergencies division to strengthen crisis preparedness and response. Mission 4: Ensure representation of the CRFP’s international pharmacy expertiseParticipates in and leads the sector’s main technical meetings on the theme of health products (inter-NGO, Red Cross Red Crescent Movement).Ensures continuous communication with thematic partners (QUAMED, TULIPE, PAH).Develops strategic relationships and partnerships with key players in humanitarian pharmacy.Desired start date as soon as possible

Holder of a State diploma of Doctor of Pharmacy, you ideally have practical experience allowing registration in section C of the CNOP – responsible pharmacist (6 months minimum in a pharmaceutical establishment – article R5124-18 of the CSP)

You master good storage and distribution practices, concepts related to quality assurance and their integration into humanitarian programs. You master the management of the medical supply chain in the humanitarian sector as well as procedures specific to institutional donors.

Your know-how allows you to understand quality assurance, supply and inventory management on international humanitarian missions. A teacher, with excellent interpersonal skills, autonomous, curious and responsive, you have a perfect command of IT
