Location: UK Flexible – home with monthly visit to London office
Contract Type: 18-month fixed term contract
Hours per week: 35
Salary: £42,000 – £46,700 (plus Inner London Weighting of £3,344 where applicable)

The British Red Cross has embarked on an evolutionary transformation journey to become Fit for the Future. Fit for the Future (FftF) is a portfolio of change programmes spanning across the organisation from fundraising to UK operations to our internal services. It aims to create an efficient & agile organisation with the right structure, services, skills and ways of working to empower our people to deliver Strategy 2030

How you’ll make a difference..

You’ll work closely with the Fit for the Future (FftF) Portfolio Leadership Team to support the identification and realisation of benefits critical to the success of the transformation programmes. You’ll be responsible for creating and implementing the benefits management strategy. You’ll develop and own the portfolio view of benefits, reporting to the Portfolio Board providing analysis on benefit progress and risk.

What you’ll be doing…

Develop and manage the benefits management strategy to ensure consistent benefits management across the portfolio.
Ensure there is robust benefits reporting in place
Work with key programme team members and business leaders to understand the desired benefits.

What you’ll bring to the role…

– Knowledge of benefit management processes and methodologies, best practice tools and templates to support benefits management.
– Understanding of how effective benefits management can help an organisation understand whether programme and project outcomes have been delivered.
– Ability to lead benefits management within a transformational environment, including developing benefit profiles, developing realisation plans and reporting on progress.
– Ability to flex approaches and adapt to in-house environment
