Doctors Without Borders ( MSF ) is an independent medical NGO founded in 1971, working in more than 70 countries. Its teams provide relief to populations in distress, victims of natural or human-made disasters, without any discrimination of race, religion, philosophy or politics. She received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999.
As part of an internship, we are looking, in support of the Communication Department, for : Intern or Alternative · th Press Relations ( H / F )
Internship missions
Within the press team :
- You are in charge of press reviews in support of the press center and for internal dissemination
- You participate in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of media spinoffs, in the evaluation and improvement of the tools put in place for media analysis
- You participate in the implementation of national and local press strategies on operational, institutional and eventual communications
- You participate in the regular updating of media databases and journalistic files
- You participate in the general activity of the press relations service: ensuring media reminders, sending press releases and press news, preparation of press conferences
- You participate and take notes at the Weekly Point Info, on the operational activity of MSF
- You participate in the general activity of the communication department
Profile sought
Training : BAC level + 3 minimum in Human Sciences and / or information and communication / Journalism.
Tools and skills required :
- Mastery Pack Office + social networks
Qualities :
Rigor, analytical mind, sense of organization, interpersonal skills, very good editorial skills.
Significant interest in the media and international relations / humanitarian sector.
Languages : French and good level of English ( B1 minimum ).
Internship conditions
Internship lasting 5 to 6 months full time ( 35h weekly ) – Compulsory internship agreement. Or 1 year alternation with work-study contract provided by your school.
Internship condition: Compensation of €6.55/hour + restaurant vouchers at the rate of €11 per day worked (60% covered by MSF) + reimbursement of 50% of the cost of the public transport season ticket.
Work-study condition: Remuneration of 55% to 80% of the minimum wage depending on the level of studies. Complementary health care 100% covered by MSF. Restaurant vouchers with a face value of €11 (60% covered by Médecins Sans Frontières). Support at 50% of the public transport season ticket.
