Private Sector Engagement Manager At Christian Aid

This role is offered on a part time basis with an actual salary of £30,590.40 – £33,480.80 per annum.

This role is based in the UK on a homeworking contract or based in our London office. Christian Aid is currently trialing a hybrid working model and you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 2 days per week with the option to work remotely for the remaining 3 days per week.

The salary quoted is for homeworking, but if based in our London office, the salary will be £42,707 – £46,319 (£34,165.60 – £37,055.20 pro-rated).

About the role

The Private Sector Engagement Manager will build new relationships across the business sector, grow Christian Aid’s engagement network, expand the Values Based Business ecosystem and create opportunities for innovative partnerships to further the work of Christian Aid. Through the management and growth of the Christian Aid Salt Business Network, a suite of events, thought leadership and engagement opportunities the Private Sector Engagement Manager role is key to our Private Sector team. The Private Sector team has an ambitious strategy to develop meaningful partnerships across the private sector, increasing income and innovating new approaches to economic inclusion and development, and influencing better business practice.

About you

We are looking for a proactive, strategic and relational movement builder who excels in pursuing and building purposeful relationships with senior leaders, businesses and related organizations.

You are a highly organized and collaborative leader who thrives in designing and delivering engagement opportunities. You may be from the private, public or not-for-profit sector, you will be deeply familiar with value based business principles and confidently communicate them, drawing upon the current theories surrounding the ESG and SDG agenda.

Principally you will be excited about working for an organization focused on eradicating poverty and you will be passionate about mobilizing others to do the same.
