We are looking for an engaged Process Improvement Officer (m-f-d) who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work with us in a multinational environment.
The Scope
The Process Improvement Officer (m/f/d) will contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Global Network Unit and the Network. The incumbent will support the central team and the field operations by coordinating and driving internal processes, provide reports to stakeholders, and collect and manage relevant data and information from internal and external sources.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Data Process Management & Visibility
- Set up processes and systems to make working with large data sets more efficient.
- Research new ways to make use of data.
- Coordinate with FSC’s Technology and Information Unit about the development of the data infrastructure required by the Network and the Global Network Unit.
- Develop, manage and maintain a country database including relevant key country data and indicators.
- Develop and manage a document center for the Global Network Unit and the Network.
- Promote the use of internally available information and data (e.g. factbooks), increase their visibility and improve the user-friendliness.
- Data Collection & Analysis
- Lead in the design of data collection for internal processes such as Tier3, Budgeting, Network Reporting, among others.
- Support in the interpretation of data and analysis by identifying patterns and trends.
- Process Improvement
- Work closely with FSC’s field operations and other Bonn Expert Units to identify process improvements and ensure these are translated to realization.
- Research new technologies or industry best practices that the Global Network Unit can apply to improve processes.
- Support key processes such as ACF calculations, Tier 3, Budgeting, etc.
- Management Support
- Coordinate and produce a regular reporting system for internal stakeholders.
- Create ad hoc presentations and reports based on recommendations and findings.
- Manage the regular Network Reporting.
- To oversee centralized progress reports on Tier 3 projects.
- To implement and maintain an internal budget control system.
- Any other task as assigned by formal supervisor and project work as assigned according to special organizational needs.
Qualification, Experience and Skills
- Education and Training:
- University degree, or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, International Relations).
- Working Experience, Style and Skills:
- At least 2 years demonstrated professional experience or professional education/training in one or more of the following: process management, data analysis, business intelligence, and/or related fields.

Terms and Conditions
- Location: Bonn, Germany.
- Working Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week.
- Duration of Employment: Temporary contract – 2 years (extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance).
- Starting Date: As soon as possible.
- Travel: Sporadic travel is required.
