Procurement and Asset Management Officer – HQ (Marseille, France) At iMMAP

Description of Duties

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be in charge of the procurement and asset management for the organization. This includes: support to Country Offices procurement teams, supervision of compliance to procurement and asset management policies; internal training, lessons learned on procurement and asset management with Country Offices; ensure procurement and asset management for the headquarter.

Procurement :

Compliance:

  • Review procurement packages submitted by Country Offices and ensure their compliance to iMMAP France and donors policies
  • Regularly support Country offices during procurement processes
  • Update as needed iMMAP France procurement procedures
  • Prepare and lead procurement processes of iMMAP France HQ in close coordination with other departments

Learning and teams development:

  • Regularly review performance of Country teams in terms of procurement
  • Regularly organize refresher training and lessons learned workshop
  • Propose adjustment in the organizational structure of procurement teams at Country Office level

Asset Management:

Compliance:

  • Review asset management documentation prepared by Country Offices and ensure their compliance to iMMAP France and donors policies
  • Ensure asset management requirements on specific project are respected at project start and closure
  • Update as needed iMMAP France asset management policy
  • Ensure the management of asset at HQ is updated and regular
  • Ensure small stock management for HQ in close coordination with Finance

Learning and development:

  • Regularly review performance of Country teams in terms of asset management
  • Regularly organize refresher training and lessons learned workshop

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in management, administration or relevant field
  • At least 3 years of experience in humanitarian context in the field and preferably in roles performing procurement/asset management/ overall management
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a requirement
  • Knowledge of French is preferable
