Procurement Assistant
ROLE PURPOSE: The Procurement Assistant is responsible for support to the Procurement Coordinator in processing field requests for procurement of goods and services.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in relevant purchasing and administration
- Experience in a similar role
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in providing assistance and support
- Highly developed cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
- Strong results orientation and positive team player
- Experience of providing definition of a clear way forward
- Ability to present complex information in a succinct and compelling manner
- Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming surge teams, in the event of emergencies
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Commitment to Save the Children values
Contract Length: Fixed Term position until December 31, 2021 based in Iligan City
