The Program Associate (PA) is the early-career position for program work at IRI, supporting programmatic implementation and administration for current and future IRI Transatlantic Strategies Division programming. Based in Warsaw Poland, the PA will have a specific focus on Countering Foreign Authoritarian Influence (CFAI) and political party programing.

This position is scheduled to start April 2022.

Position Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in political science, international relations, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in international development or related field.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, research, and communications skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
  • Detail-oriented individual with demonstrated interest in external outreach.

Primary Functions & Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Resident Program Director (RPD) support the implementation of the Transatlantic Strategies Division programming, to include:

o Support program planning and implementation.

o Event management, to include procurement of accommodation and event space, and arranging logistics.

o Conduct research as needed and defined by the RPD.

o Assist in drafting quarterly, semi-annual, final, and other relevant reports for funders.

o Tracks and follows-up on pending procurement requests, approvals, and monitoring, including RFP solicitations and the RFP evaluation process.
