Kvinna till Kvinna is looking for a Program Developer Ukraine to join our team in Stockholm. This is a temporary full-time position until March 2023, based at our head office in Stockholm

About the job

As our Programme Developer for Ukraine you are responsible for developing Kvinna till Kvinna’s programme for Ukraine, in accordance with the working methods, strategies, policies, and methods of Kvinna till Kvinna. As the program is in the development stage, you will be able to use all your creativity, professional skills, your competence, knowledge and engagement!

Monitoring of funding opportunities, development of project proposals and budgets for potential donors based are part of the responsibility, as well as the development of briefs on ongoing developments in relation to Ukraine. In addition, you will manage and develop Kvinna till Kvinna’s emergency funding for Ukraine. Identifying advocacy opportunities and cooperating with our advocacy team is also part of the job.

You will be part of the programme department and report to the regional manager for South Caucasus and Ukraine. You will coordinate internally with other departments and units working with women, peace and security within your area of responsibility.

About you

To be able to work as a programme developer you should be responsible and accurate as well as strategic, with an ability to prioritise. You need to have good time management skills to be able to manage your workload and meet deadlines. We are looking for someone who is responsive, flexible and adaptable with great cooperation ability as well as a commitment to human rights and gender equality.

You need to at least have

  • Academic degree in a relevant field such as political science, international relations, development studies, peace and conflict studies, gender studies, human rights, law or similar.
  • Minimum three years of work experience of which at least two from working with international development cooperation, including results management and budgeting.
  • Experience in identifying funding opportunities and documented experience in successful proposal and report writing to donors.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience from working in/with Ukraine or other countries in the Eastern Partnership region.
  • Fluency in English as a working language.

Merits

  • Knowledge of Swedish and EU development cooperation.
  • Experience of programme development.
  • Knowledge of gender, conflict and human rights within development cooperation.
  • Experience from working with advocacy preferably on an international level.
  • Experience of drafting and establishing cooperation agreements with local partners.
  • Knowledge of Swedish, Ukraine and/or Russian language.
