A. Summary
The Al Sharq International Fellowship is a year-long leadership capacity-building program that brings together a network of passionate and high-potential youth from around the world to become effective change agents committed to informed action, and helps in propelling future leaders’ impact in the communities they serve, and the region as a whole. The purpose of the program is to build a network of globally oriented and locally committed ethical leaders, who possess the universal value of justice, by equipping them with the necessary skills to lead the wave of change at this time of transition and uncertainties. The fellowship program is about having synergy for mentorship, coaching, networking, and capacity building opportunities, in order to propel the impact of high-potential future leaders.

B. Responsibilities:
▪ General leadership of the organizing and managing the fellowship program.
▪ Building the content of the fellowship program, communicating with lectures & trainers.
▪ Building a volunteering team who facilitate the delivery of the program.
▪ Plan and implement the physical international retreats.
▪ Development of facilitated workshop & group discussions.
▪ Building and maintaining the network of program Alumni with engaging activities.
▪ Lead and facilitate the network weaving within program participants and the wider community of Alsharq network members.
C. Qualifications & Experience:
▪ Familiarity with Al Sharq Forum, its principles & values.
▪ Bachelor Education in business, human resources, psychology, social science, or other relevant fields.
▪ Proven experience in designing, leading and implementing leadership development programs, training programs, experiential learning workshops, and capacity building programs.
▪ Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
▪ Proven experience in activism and leading youth projects that are based on networking, mentorship and capacity building.
▪ Exceptional communication and social skills, high sense of initiative and ability to work independently is required.
D. Languages:
▪ Arabic and English fluency is a must.
▪ Turkish fluency is an advantage
F. Administration:
- Position will be based in Istanbul, Turkey at Al-Sharq office, and some travel is expected (therefore a valid passport is required)
- Working hours: Expected average of 45 hours per week
- Flexible working arrangements are possible and negotiated upon recruitment
