Position Summary
I4DI is seeking a Program Manager for a USAID/Mars. The inc-funded activity aimed at scaling evidence-based agroforestry practices built on a longer-term approach that utilizes farm-level technologies to advance climate-resilient practices, increase smallholder farmer income, and ensure high-quality cocoa supply in South/Southeast Sulawesi. This position will provide strategic programmatic design and operational support to the Chief of Party.
Responsibilities
- Support the design and implementation of a sustainable business model for cocoa agroforestry
- Lead the implementation and scale-up of experimental model pilot projects and proactively monitor progress, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action
- Contribute to the achievement of the Activity’s outcomes
- Develop and manage collaboration with other relevant government and private sector stakeholders
- Oversee operational coordination of activities in the field with the District Coordinator and with partners.
- Provide necessary technical and organizational support to conduct workshops/ seminars/ meetings/advocacy events.
- Provide regular process documentation of all activities, meetings, and relevant events.
- Provide support in monitoring and evaluation of project activities, with a particular focus on the use of data for improved program outcomes.
- Provide support for reporting to the government of Indonesia, USAID, Mars, and partners as needed.
Qualifications
Successful candidates should have:
- Curiosity, learning agility, and strong analytical thinking
- An academic degree in business, agriculture, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management.
- Excellent organizational skills and relationship management
- Innovative and driven to continuously improve projects and procedures.
- Fluent in English and the local language is a plus.
