“Hurras” is a Non-governmental Organization specialized in child care and protection, and it works on preventing any case of violence, abuse, and exploitation cases, that children are exposed to in all environments, and that is by acting against it, and eliminating them by several events, such as education, rights, protection, training, and psychological support.

Purpose of the position

Responsible for Managing and implementing the Network programs and projects in the fields of child protection and education, ensuring that budget targets are met, providing guidance, orientation, and readdressing to the field team in the executive aspect of the program activities, and managing relationships with partners and donors to ensure that relationships are maintained and developed.

Responsibilities

  1. Managing, maintaining, and developing relationships with partner organizations as part of the strategic networking plan with these partners
  2. Manage the writing project proposals process and develop the appropriate tools and mechanisms.
  3. Manage all final project budgets and related files.
  4. Manage the planning of the projects and programs, including time plans, an appropriate distribution of project resources, following up on plans during implementation, and proposing the required modifications.
  5. Being aware of the studies and researches research on response, in addition to the response plans released by the international parties and coordination platforms, as well as being aware of the funding opportunities.
  6. Follow up and manage the required reports from the departments and administration to partners/donors such as: “monthly reports – accident reports – systems reports – financial reports – protection reports – data reports” ensuring the quality and the documentation of the reports required, and work on building appropriate tools for the preparation of the reports.
  7. Provision technical and administrative support to the program team as well as the field team, to ensure that activities of projects are implemented on time with high efficiency and the required quality.
  8. Work with the MEAL team to design effective monitoring systems of the program activities, budgets, and expenditures.
  9. Perform a regular and ongoing review of identified key risks and contingency plans related to the program and verify the effective risk management process with the field team.
  10. Ensure the application and the development of the standards, tools, and practices of the program planning, implementation, monitoring, and the lessons learned, as well as the standards and tools related to the preparation of the required reports.
  11. Cooperate with the Communication and Advocacy Department in supporting the advocacy strategy and contributing to obtaining the required information and ensuring a regular and mutual flow of information.
  12. Cooperate with the HR Department in completing and developing the files related to the team’s personnel: job description – job appraisal – training, capacity building, and career development.
  13. Manage the archive of the programs and projects, system design, and tools required.

Required Work experience and Qualifications

  • University degree in Business Administration, or any other related field.
  • 5 years of work experience in a related field of NGO.
  • Extensive experience and background in the field of child protection.
  • Valuable experience in capacity building.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lead and supervise.
  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills (oral and written).
  • High level of computer literacy (MS Office Word, Excel ).
  • Strong skills in communication, coordination, and organization.
  • High skills in analysis, conclusion, and extraction of lessons learned.
  • High negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
