Programme Manager (Operational Research) At MENTOR Initiative

THE Mentor initiative is expanding its operational research across three continents, evaluating new disease control tools to determine their suitability and effectiveness in various humanitarian crisis for the control of malaria, leishmaniasis, dengue fever and other vector borne diseases. We are currently looking for a dynamic and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team at HQ to contribute to our expanding research portfolio. Whilst based in the UK, this team member will be ready to spend periods of time in our operational research sites globally. Predominantly in crisis settings and working with our country teams to help ensure the quality and robustness of our studies.

This person will have excellent data management and analytical skills to take a significant role in the HQ research team in the management of field study data its analysis and write up for donors and peer review publications. If you have the right skills and are flexible, innovative and love challenges and finding solutions and you have at least two years proven research and publication experience then we would like to talk to you. A second or third language of French, Spanish or Portuguese would be an advantage.
