Project Assistant, Data Integrity At International Organization for Migration

Core Functions / Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with data integrity activities in an assigned area or areas, such as such as
    reporting, data quality assurance or application management.
  2. Assist in creating reports for RSC MENA and presenting them in a timely, clear and
    concise format using SQL Reporting Services (SSRS) and other reporting tools.
  3. Assist in designing and publishing reports for RSC MENA that are presented in a
    clear and informative format, ensuring data integrity and veracity and utilizing data
    drawn from multiple database sources.
  4. Assist in coordinating the distribution of reports, typically by email, to relevant
    stakeholders, both internal and external.
  5. Provide end user support to colleagues in RSC MENA using reporting tools,
    including conducting instructional tutorials and offering assistance to them as
    needed.
  6. Provide general assistance in developing in-house applications for the USRAP at
    RSC MENA.
  7. Provide regular reports on the work being accomplished to the Senior Project
    Assistant, Data Integrity, and/or supervisors and team members.
  8. Undertake duty travel as needed to participate in meetings or training.
  9. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the USRAP, SOPs and WRAPS, as well
    as the ability to remain professional, impartial and unbiased during all interactions
    with applicants and colleagues.
  10. Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of all RSC-related information by
    implementing control procedures in line with USRAP standards of conduct and data
    protection rules. Alert the Senior Project Assistant or RSC management of any noncompliance
    to SOPs or codes of conduct by RSC staff members.

  12. Education & Experience:
  13. • University degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or other relevant
  14. field supplemented by related courses will be advantage, with two years of relevant
    professional experience.
    • Diploma/Secondary school, Certificate in related fields, with four years of relevant
    professional experience
    Skills & Technical:

    1. Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and SQL Reports Server and experience
      in using SSMS and BIDS.
    2. Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
    3. Thorough knowledge of English.
    4. Attention to detail and ability to organize.
    5. Excellent computer skills, including in Word, Excel and Internet; IT skills are a
      distinct advantage.
