Project Assistant- Türkiye / Adiyaman At SARD

  • Provide counselling and support services to individuals, families, and communities in need
  • Develop and implement plans to improve the quality of life for beneficiaries
  • Visiting beneficiaries, assessing their needs and gathering relevant information.
  • Facilitate access to resources and services to meet the needs of beneficiaries
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of beneficiaries
  • Participate in case management reviews and other meetings as required
  • Prepare reports, document case activities, and maintain accurate client records
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other service providers
  • Participate in professional development activities to remain current with social work practices
  • Offering information and supporting beneficiaries and their families.
  • Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • Turkish nationality
  • Ability to work in Turkey legally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field or any other relevant fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in I/NGOs with similar position
  • Good understanding of INGO/NGO and humanitarian work
  • Demonstrated knowledge of social work practices and principles
  • Good contextual knowledge of the local community and social/cultural constraints, realities, and organizational relationships.
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals and families
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Knowledge of Turkey’s systems, policies, and regulations
  • V. Good Command of the Turkish Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
  • Good Command of the English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
  • Kurdish is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications especially MS Office and Outlook
  • High degree of flexibility and adaptability required
  • Well-developed organizational and planning skills
  • Having good communication and people skills.
  • This position will be based in Adıyaman, candidates outside of the city should be okay to relocate.
