- Provide counselling and support services to individuals, families, and communities in need
- Develop and implement plans to improve the quality of life for beneficiaries
- Visiting beneficiaries, assessing their needs and gathering relevant information.
- Facilitate access to resources and services to meet the needs of beneficiaries
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of beneficiaries
- Participate in case management reviews and other meetings as required
- Prepare reports, document case activities, and maintain accurate client records
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other service providers
- Participate in professional development activities to remain current with social work practices
- Offering information and supporting beneficiaries and their families.
- Contacting and making referrals to other agencies and services.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
- Turkish nationality
- Ability to work in Turkey legally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field or any other relevant fields
- At least 2 years of experience in I/NGOs with similar position
- Good understanding of INGO/NGO and humanitarian work
- Demonstrated knowledge of social work practices and principles
- Good contextual knowledge of the local community and social/cultural constraints, realities, and organizational relationships.
- Experience working with vulnerable individuals and families
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Knowledge of Turkey’s systems, policies, and regulations
- V. Good Command of the Turkish Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
- Good Command of the English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
- Kurdish is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of computer applications especially MS Office and Outlook
- High degree of flexibility and adaptability required
- Well-developed organizational and planning skills
- Having good communication and people skills.
- This position will be based in Adıyaman, candidates outside of the city should be okay to relocate.
